So hey, it was exactly a month ago, that my so beloved uni hadn't deemed it important enough to inform me about my own exam, and now we are on take two: namely exam fees. A few years ago a new system was installed for exams: you can only take one by subject, and if you fail, you need to pay an exam fee for the 2nd, and the 3rd. If you can't make the subject on three tries, then you need to take it again next year. If you apply for an exam, you must show up: if you don't, guess what, you need to pay. So basically, if you aren't a robot, who can always succeed in everything at first try, then you're going to pay. And guess what: i took an exam, i showed up, i did the test (not even badly), but the teacher decided that my work during a year was not satisfactory (even when we talked about it, that because i'm working fulltime, i won't always be able to finish my assignments on time), she failed me. But in the electronic admin system she wrote that i didn't show up for the exam, so now, even though i did the freakin' test, i need to pay the fees. Oh joy. I'm really seriously thinking about switching unis if this continues.
