REPOST FOR FAIL.
who: cecil harvey / anyone that decides to have a stroll through the park. anyone is welcome! absolutely anyone. Go go go.
when: tonight.
what: downtime. Cecil's finally discovered the reason why he fights (something that seriously plagued him in dissidia, bawww.) Now that he's found reason, he's determined to be able to find the strength to act upon it.
Some habits were difficult to overwrite. Some were difficult. Cecil though was not in a procrasinating mood. Having turned back to his Paladin form (Not that anything was wrong with being a dark knight. Cecil was just... a little concerned that those close to him would get a little distraught over the sight of him returning to that form. Especially due to the fact none of them even knew his reasons for using both forms in tandem.) he occupied himself in the park. Training was certainly what was in mind right now; and the paladin stood in determination as he sought about his training.
Suffice to say it, (Cecil was certainly not an egotist.) but he knew that with a dark sword or with a sword of light, he was very much deadly. The best in his world, truth be told -- but habits were habits. Even if they involved new things, the concept was very much the same. and learning to become as good with a staff as what he was with a sword was certainly part of his agenda. Later he'd move to polearm. But for now... he stood, staff in both hands; focusing before darting it foreward; this way and that way, mouthing silent words between breaths, the words he'd told Golbez on the second moon.
i fight for my friends. both light and darkness are my strength. that's why the power of darkness will supplement the power of light. even though i know well the despair of betrayal, i still want to become the strength of others. my belief is solid. i swear it on my sword. no matter what trials lie ahead, i will stand and face them together with everyone else. and some day, with you, as well. because it is my bonds with others that guide me. i will continue to believe.
