What: REUNIONS ARE REALLY FUN, RIGHT?
Warnings: Possible time-related brainbreak. Fluff. Who knows. He wants to collect Rosa, but Cecil might get antsy enough to go looking for Kain too. ;x; Either way, Rydia definately gets a hug. Definatelydefinately.

Cecil had asked Edge to keep an eye on Rydia. Luckily, out of all the people he knew Edge respected Cecil the most. He trusted his judgment (even when it seemed a little much) more than most of the people in his own kingdom. Which was probably why he had been leaning against the wall next to Rydia’s room for some time.

“You could say hello, you know.” He grinned at Cecil a bit. The paladin seemed awfully upset, probably had someone spook him about what had been going on. He was definitely going to explain to Cecil what had been going on, at the least. He probably should mention that Kain had gone rogue again too…

“Nothing has gone in or out, if you’re wondering.” Edge knew better than to barge into Rydia’s room. He didn’t want the I’m a big girl and I can take care of myself speech.

Until they go get Rosa, is Cecil / Rydia / Edge okay for order?

Cecil had heard that Kain ...wasn't himself. Or rather a small reference to that fact. Truthfully, the matter combined with tiredness had made him want to meet with all that were important to him lest anything happen. Truthfully, the chances of something happening really were somewhat small, but the term " Kain is not himself" was almost identical to the Zemus situation. The Lunarian's words even after defeat that he would never die as long as evil existed in the hearts of men had made Cecil uneasy. Uneasy to the extent that the universe colliding in on itself really hadn't caused much of a ripple in his conciousness. Well... at the time, yes. But he hardly worried about it afterwards. Zemus though, a constant worry. The writing was on the wall, and it could never be scrubbed off

He chuckled at that question, covering a hand over his mouth he cleared his throat. “ Well, if you consider almost having a spear shoved through you…” He left it at that, because he was sure that Rydia knew what was going on with Kain. Cecil on the other hand… that bothered him just a bit. He didn’t know how the King of Baron would take finding out his friend had joined the dark side (without the offer of cookies even!)

He wasn’t going to be the one to put a damper on the entire situation though. Grinning a bit he poked Rydia in the side. “This is like some weird family reunion. All we need are some decorations and a cake.” And Kain to jump out of it and threaten to kill them all.

It had been difficult enough to handle Kain--or whatever said he was Kain, but really wasn't. Rosa hadn't told the others what had happened, perhaps because she was concerned about how it would look. In a way, it was still Kain, however, even if his thoughts were darker, even if they managed to frighten her a bit. She was stirred. She was certainly stirred, and certainly distressed.

And then Cecil had arrived.

Half of Rosa had calmed down immediately. He was safe. He was present. Although something seemed a little off about him. The other half was a bit up in arms. She didn't know what to think.

Kain was... He'd fly off his rocker, wouldn't he? To see the paladin, of course. He had grown so enraged the night he cornered her in her room. After that, Rosa hadn't even wanted to leave. Yet she was left to her own devices, which was what had her cautiously traipsing the halls.

Perhaps she was looking for Kain. Looking for a way to calm him down. Finding the other three, however, was entirely a plus.

Cecil was perfectly fine. Nodding to Rydia slightly and giving the girl a rather polite nod, he turned his gaze to Edge, face falling to seriousness again instantly at the mention of a spear. He had attacked him..? That... Shadow or not was very unlike the dragoon. Face falling further and eyes drifting to his staff, he felt the corners of his lips tugging downward. Was this Zemus, back again and carrying out his threat? It couldn't be. Zemus was only able to control Kain's will through Golbez, and Golbez... There was no way. None. He wouldn't.And then he heard Rosa. Lowering his head further, he let out a long yet silent exhale. It wasn't as if he disliked the idea she was here, or even that he did not want to see her, more like her presence made him inwardly cringe, as Kain's likely would. This place drew people in by offering them second chances, after all. Rydia and Edge

Edge rolled his eyes at the situation. Really, all that was left was cheesy music and a field full of flowers. Though, if that ever happened....Edge would Flame the entire damn field. Glancing from Cecil to Rosa and back again, he took a giant step away.

"Well, looks like that's my cue..." He reached out and grabbed Rydia's arm and yanked the summoner to him. "So Rydia, do you have any cocoa in the kitchen or maybe coffee." Aka, lets get the heck out of here before there's a marriage spat.

He could just picture it. Cecil where were you!?! Rosa... I... Don't you ever leave me again, Cecil! Rawr Rawr.. No, he'd like to pass on that one, thank you very much.
