They had made plans to go to tea together, after all. Caim couldn't deny he wanted to see the princess under better circumstances, where he wasn't constantly hearing "OH, MY!"

He was dressed remarkably casual. Or what he considered casual and what Inuart considered not so casual. A button down shirt and a completely not glorious set of slacks.

Peach immediately recognized Caim. And while the memories associated with him weren't the greatest, she was determined to make them better. And to do that, they'd have to make some good, happy memories of tea and maybe tennis or a friendly sport.

"Hi, Caim!" she waved him over. "Won't you join me for some tea?"

And honestly, if she'd mentioned tennis to him, he would have stared at her blankly. Of course, almost anything she'd say to him, he'd simply stare blankly. Unfortunately.

Clutched in his right hand was the whiteboard K-Na had often bothered him about. He offered her a wave, somewhat halfhearted, but remarkably sincere in its underlying gesture. Then he nodded once toward her.

"Tea sounds just fine. I'm not under dressed, am I?"

Peach smiled back at him. That white board was kind of cute, and it was good to know what he was thinking instead of.... um. nevermind.

"Oh no, you're just fine, Caim ♥"

Personally, he wanted to deny that anything had even happened in that week. His body obviously knew differently when he looked at her. She was a pretty sort, wasn't she? In that innocent way. It was like looking at Furiae. Kind of. Not that they looked alike, but more that they had a similar purity.

Well, did.

"Uh... It doesn't need to be said, I guess, but... I am sorry for what happened."

Not that there was anything wrong with her. She honestly could have taken it in a bad way.

Last week. That sure was something the princess wanted to forget. "I am too. I hope we can put that behind us."

"As do I," Caim agreed with a curt nod. "It only seemed right to apologize."

And he didn't want to drag it on longer than necessary. With a hand holding his dry-erase marker, he gestured to the tea place, "Shall we?"

Then he offered to her an arm after rendering it free.

"Oh that would be wonderful ♥" Peach exclaimed, clasping her hands together excitedly, then taking his arm.

Into the tea house he led her.

It was the first time Caim had gone. He wasn't accustomed to sitting down for tea. In fact, he couldn't remember doing so since he was younger, before he had turned into a jaded man, before all of the unfortunate things had taken place. He gestured once more, as an indication of where she wanted to sit or what she wanted to order.

Whichever came first.

Peach smiled. She sure liked having tea. "What sort of tea will you have?" She already knew what she wanted. Peach tea, of course.

What sort of tea indeed... He didn't even really know anything about tea, and as far as he was concerned, it rendered him a little stupid.

"Ah... What do you recommend?"

His eyebrows raised and it was painfully obvious just how clueless he was.

She didn't care how clueless he was. It was kind of cute. "I recommend the fruit teas, especially the peach or orange teas."

Fruit tea? He probably should have seen that coming. She was a woman, after all. All women seemed to like that fruit. Well, except Cassandra.

Falafel, right?

"Well, since your name is Peach, I suppose I'll try the peach tea."

He almost made a crack about comparing it to how she tasted, but he knew it was in bad form.

The comment was best to keep to himself. She would have died where she stood.

"Oh I will have the same ♥!"

It was best to take the gentlemanly course. With a hand, he gestured off toward the chairs and tables.

"Go find a place to sit. I'll order for us. It's on me today."

And the more he thought about it, the more he didn't think he sounded very princely. Did she even know? Hardly. He didn't see how she possibly could. Not many people knew about that nonsense. Except those people from the hell hole on Mars.

"O-oh, are you sure, Caim? It's so very kind of you ♥!" She clasped her hands together. He sure was quite kind.
