who: Cecil Harvey and Theodore (Golbez) Harvey! :DDDDDD
what: Golbez arrives in Aegean and quite obviously is pretty creeped out in a 'lawlwatsthis' fashion. Cecil of course drops everything and goes a'runnin.
when: Saturday.
where: Aegean train station.
warning(s): Probably loads of second-guessing and manly fluff. Ohyes.

don't waste your time on me; you're already the voice inside my head. )

golbez, cecil harvey

The lot of them... Cecil did his best to curb the feelings which the entire scenario stirred within him. That the Goddess knew well what she was doing with her behest to her forces to gather their crystals. Did she truly want to die to force Chaoses hand to end the world and himself? Were they all pawns after all? It seemed such a waste of life to really be such.. but Gods decided the fate of mortals, where they fit and what role they would furfill. It had been such throughout the ages ( ... )

Cecil decided that he would have to speak to everyone regarding it. After all, he didn't exactly want Golbez to be set upon verbally or otherwise. He knew that there were those (he'd hazard a guess for Kain and Edge..) that wouldn't forgive the wizard for what he'd done possessed or not- at least not right away. But there was the matter of him not wanting to seem too overbearing... he knew that his older brother could take care of himself. He'd just survived the end of a world practically unscathed, and Cecil of all people knew how sharp his brother's tongue could be ( ... )

"..." Cecil opened his mouth to protest almost immediately, a hand even rising a few centimetres up to try and plead with the older one to at least allow him to take a look at any injuries which had occurred. Really, he wondered whether the Emperor had got to Golbez before he had slain him. Or Exdeath. He didn't truly think Firion or any of the others had taken a shot at his brother-- not after hearing Tidus trip over his words when he said that all of them were going down apart from Golbez ( ... )

Getting magic power back wasn't really an issue for Cecil. Admittedly, there were no such tinctures such as ethers or any variant commonly available in this world; but he found that he was more-or-less okay after a long rest. Being at zero wasn't exactly painful... just generally made him sluggish and a little zombie-like. Not painful in the slightest, when compared to actual physical hurt ( ... )

Sigh. at this point in time Cecil realised that he certainly wasn't clever enough to try and use around-the-houses tactics to make sure the other was okay. But, he reasoned. He was walking, not limping. That seemed proof enough that the wounds in question were merely those of the flesh. ...Still. He'd managed to walk away rather elegantly after Cecil had last fought him. It was best not to worry. There was no way that his brother would accept help, and that was the end of it. Nagging wouldn't do any good ( ... )
