Characters: Link (
triedforce), Zelda (
ir_reversetrap)
When: Afternoon
Summary: Zelda's feeling nostalgic and likely a little homesick in spite of protests from a Sheik who is feeling a little ignored. Link's going to try to do some damage control. It can't go anywhere good.
Warnings: Angst, likely. Angst and anger.
He wanted to go see Rydia. She didn't want to be left in that goddess-forsaken darkness. He wanted to spend time with that special someone. She had been betrayed by the person she defined as her special someone. They were two opposites on the broad spectrum.
They came to a compromise. She would sulk for one more day and let him wander about for as long as he wanted. He had to take his emerald-haired dove to the archery range, after all, and he had no intentions of simply letting it stop there. Whatever happened after all of that was left in the air.
Eyes pointed onto the sky, Zelda found herself in wonderment. Even far away, the beach looked inviting--the kind of invitation that told her she wanted to take the first train back to Hyrule. She stayed for her other half, however. If Sheik had not been so attached, she would have upped and gone the moment she found out what happened. Instead, she was at his compassion.
As usual.
As always.
