so the biopsy revealed what dad has. its a low grade (slow growing) follicular b-cell lymphoma. at this point in time they are not going to try to treat it. instead he will have scans to monitor the growth and wait til it causes problems. on the one hand this is good news as he doesn't have to undergo any nasty treatments yet, but from his perspective it means it continues to hang over him. hopefully after a while he'll stop thinking about it, but its gonna be one of those things that remains in the back of your mind... so yeah, next scan is october.
in other news i am finally due a phone upgrade. my phone stopped working properly months ago and likes to shut down periodically and do other annoying things *rolls her eyes* i am utterly clueless when it comes to mobile phones etc but seeing as the new iphone is out so soon and i'm already on o2 and so on and so on... this is the best option i can think of. only problem is they are gonna sell out almost instantly leaving me without a phone. this has led me to pencil in the release date as the day i get up early, go to an o2 store and wait in line like an idiot.
