I promised myself I would not make a LiveJournal account...
...Well, I lied.
So, I'm on LiveJournal. I may or may not update it.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Julia, though if you just want to call me "hey, you", go ahead. It's far easier to remember. I'm a rabid Barenaked Ladies fan and a semi-rabid Guster fan (I haven't seen any Guster concerts yet... they should tour in Canada!). I'm Canadian. I play guitar. My superpower is figuring out the chords to any song, I hate introducing myself. There we go.
Anyway, I spent the last week or so at Queen's University, Kingston, at a program for gifted people. I was learning how to write songs, which is not quite academic, but a gazillion times better than school. I did manage to write a song, though I did like the chord progression. I also met another Barenaked Ladies fan. We collaborated on the song together... but we never actually did much practicing. We were too busy playing BnL songs. XD It's really cool to know someone who can actually recognize In The Drink when you play it on guitar. (If you don't know In The Drink- it's a jazzy BnL song with some thirty chords. It took me about six hours to figure out.) I would write a big long Queen's-rant, but I'm too lazy. It was really fun, though. :D
I don't want to go to school on Monday. D:
