SPAC+E!

Oh boy, another Guster-rant! I'm too lazy to type it out all over again, so I'll just copy and paste from my other blog. XP

I'm back from the US of A and, even though it is two days after the Guster concert, I'm still on a concert high. It was fantastic. As in, even better than I expected. And I was expecting a lot.

Yes, I brought ping pong balls. You know how there's usually a security guard who searches your bags to make sure you're not bringing in anything illegal? Well, she just looked into my (ping pong ball-filled) purse and said "I don't even want to know." XD Either she wasn't familiar with the band, she was just starting her shift, or everyone else who brought them hid them very very well. Or all of the above. I wasn't close enough to throw them (well, I was, but I wouldn't hit the stage, and I would make the person in front of me pretty angry), but lots of other people did.

What they played (copied and pasted from the Guster webpage, because my memory is not that spectacular):
What You Wish For
Captain
Diane
New Underground
Demons
Center of Attention
Long Way Down
Airport Song
One Man Wrecking Machine
C'Mon
I Spy
Manifest Destiny
Amsterdam
Hang On
Come Downstairs and Say Hello
Happier
-----
Ruby Falls
Satellite
Barrel of a Gun
Keep it Together

PS- Forgot to explain the title. I saw the concert at the Saratoga Performing Arts Centre (SPAC for short). At the concert, Ryan noted that SPAC looks like a UFO and if you add one letter to "SPAC", you get "SPACE". My mom's reaction: "Julia, they think the same way you do!" Whether that's a good thing or not is another matter entirely.
