Olympic Catch-up
Wading into the DVRed coverage of the Bejing Games, and of course I'm going for the men's swimming stuff first.
Actual conversation with husband last night:
Husband: I recorded the Games for you so far. Did you see any in Ecuador?
Me: Yep. A little on TV, and some in the airport. I heard Michael Phelps won like a million medals and set fifty-seven world records.
Husband: Yeah, kinda hard to miss that coverage. Sorry it spoiled it for you.
Me: Spoiled? It's not like there's much suspense about Michael Phelps and whether or not he'll win. He jumps into a pool, and they start playing the national anthem for him.
Husband: Like you watch it to see if he's going to win. You watch it for the f*ck muscles.
