- 16. Call Me if You Need Anything and other things NOT to say, by Cathy Peterson. A very concise and helpful book about grief and processing and what not to do, written by a person who has been there. *****

ooh, I looooved Traveling Mercies. If you ever read her two others about her faith, Plan B and, um, I forget the one that just came out, let me know how they are too. It's one of those books I give away to people left right and center because I respect Ann Lamott so much.

also re: HP5: I recently reread that one and was surprised at how much greatness is there beneath the dark emo angst. The whole Grimmauld Place thing is one of my very very favorite parts of the whole canon.
