Today shall be an update in bullet points. My brain isn't really quite functioning otherwise. I'm still a little tired and think I may retire a bit early tonight. So here goes...
- I felt insanely jealous today, which is not my typical nature at ALL, over something very materialistic. Also not really my nature at all. It was really kinda stupid. My brother tried to call me like 3 times last night when I was sleeping and we played phone tag all day today. I was a little nervous that something was wrong as he never really calls THAT often. When I finally talked to him today I found out that he was just calling me to tell me that he bought a Volvo S60 yesterday. He kept rubbing in all the fabulous features of his new car and I was so silly jealous because when we were in California I had pointed out the Volvo S60 as one of the cars that I was considering buying. How silly and childish of me to get jealous of this car that I wanted. I mean it wasn't like some kind of jealousy that REALLY ate me up or anything. It was just a silly teasing and taunting type jealousy that only twisted my materialistic little soul for a small moment in time. I think I am over it now :)
- Caty is talking about babies in bellies again for some crazy reason. Tonight she informed me that she has 17 babies in her belly. She then told me that they all drink sweet tea and poop in each other's mouths when they are full from the tea. I was less concerned about that and more concerned with thought that I will never be able to give into my need for luxury if I am supporting 17 babies. Unless we could feed them like puppies. That could still get a little expensive :)
- Tomorrow could (or could not) be a bit of a stressful day at work. My RM is in town for the day and my boss won't disclose where they are going to be for the day. I feel like if they were really coming to my store then she would tell me. But who knows. We'll play it by ear and deal with it as it comes.
- I made a hair appointment with a new stylist. I couldn't get in with her until May 13 but I really don't care. I actually prefer to know that she is incredibly booked because that means that she is a desirable stylist. I hope anyway. One of my employees uses her and she says she is funky. I like funky. I'm sure that there will be a few panic attacks until then. Hopefully I will keep my appointment.
