Addicted to Bruce Springsteen

I was at Target the other night doing some random shopping and got taken in by the end caps and bought some Estrogen filled flicks.  Jerry McGuire and Steele Magnolias.  Caty and I have dipped into Jerry McGuire a few times and I forgot how much I love that Bruce Springsteen song "Secret Garden".  I am sure I have listened to it at least 20 times... just today.  But it has been one of those Listen To Those Kinds of Songs weekends.

The countdown to the Jet Trip at work is now 5 days.  I know it will all come together but I feel like we are sooooo not ready.  Definitely not ready for Susan on Tuesday.  It is sooo hard to get it right though when we are busting through the kind of business that we are right now.  I know it will all be fine though.  It will just be a lot of hard work to get there.

On that note... I am pooped.  I gotta go to bed.

She'll let you in her house
If you come knockin' late at night
She'll let you in her mouth
If the words you say are right
If you pay the price
She'll let you deep inside
But there's a secret garden she hides

She'll let you in her car
To go drivin' round
She'll let you into the parts of herself
That'll bring you down
She'll let you in her heart
If you got a hammer and a vise
But into her secret garden, don't think twice

You've gone a million miles
How far'd you get
To that place where you can't remember
And you can't forget

She'll lead you down a path
There'll be tenderness in the air
She'll let you come just far enough
So you know she's really there
She'll look at you and smile
And her eyes will say
She's got a secret garden
Where everything you want
Where everything you need
Will always stay
A million miles away
