Nothing quite like the feeling when your children learn how to tell you that they don't like what you cooked for dinner because it's "asgussing". I will admit - it WAS a bit garlicky for a three year old. Hehehe.

Another funny Catyism... last night Daniel brought Caty home to me. He had kept her for the day and took her to see a movie and took her shopping for toys. They came home with a little art set of some sort that had pencils and rulers and paper and markers and stuff like that in it. He was taking it apart for her and when he handed her the ruler she asked him "This is the thing you kill bugs with?".

And then today on the way home from school she was telling me all about her Yaya's baby cow that sleeps in the barn that he feeds with a bottle. I vaguely remembered my dad mentioning a baby that he was feeding, but it didn't occur to me to ask him why. I figured it was born too early or something. So I made the mistake of asking Caty and she informed me that it was because his mommy was "dead". So instead of making a big deal of it I just told her that I was sure that the other mommies would help take care of the little baby so he would be ok. So she says "But you don't take care of me!". I am thinking she was meaning that I don't feed her a bottle and keep her in a barn... let's hope so anyway!

silly anecdotes, caty
