and greetings from Albuquerque
we went due south today, more or less. we drove through a loooooong stretch of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, which is possibly THE most gorgeous country i've ever seen. absolutely spectacular.
here's a little taste: i filled my camera's card taking pics of the mountains, so i had to put them on the computer. there will be more once i get a chance to edit them!
New Mexico is significantly less gorgeous, but still fairly impressive (with a return to flat). we decided it was time to finally pay for a place to stay, so we're at a red roof in where there are SHOWERS and DELIVERY PIZZA (not that we haven't been eating well) and a HUGE BED. all of these things are good.
