sorry....i feel like no one reads my posts if i cut them, and that makes me sad so i don't. do you know about image placeholders? you can have LJ put basically a link to the pics. i forget where the setting is, though. faq search will tell you?
now i feel like a jerk for not wanting to do it...but i really dont want to. meep!
I don't mind so much about other stuff, like long text posts, but images just take a ton of time to load, especially recently or when I'm at home.
As for image placeholders, you could post the web link to the picture, since none of the other info that I found on the FAQ seems to be helpful regarding image placeholders. Also, using an alternate posting source, or saving the images and reposting them from another image source is also helpful to the websites the images are from, because hot linking sucks up bandwidth in no time.
