MY LIFE IS ORGANIZED CHAOS!!!!... but days like these make it damn interesting
So basically I have catagorized the last three days into 3 key events, disneyland, the ER and lastly my swim instuctor's accident.
I can't begin to say how much I loved being in disneyland with all y'all! Beth put it best as our little random "click". I can't believe we've been doing this for 13 years...and to reinerate no we did not wear our vests!! haha It was all amazing. I am still raving over soarin' when they made it smell like a forest and orange groves, I can't even recall now at what given point they lifted us up to the screan. I even thought that having 7 of us in one room would be a little tight but I had so much fun hanging out and I think it was hilarious that we were ready before our 2 chaperones in the room next door (not to mention how comfortable it was especially w/ the pool next door!!) Other than that I think that was the most fun I've ever had going over splash mountain even though I thouht we were all going to lose it the first time around (nervousness etc. lol in a good way) I have never gone on a water rides so many times in one day, that was awesome! I'm so happy everyone wanted to, it was great! I just think we lived every second to the fullest, right up to our frenchfry run at 1 in the morning. anyways I can't wait to make our T-shirts!..."welcome to the YC bitch" I'm still pulling for the picture with the shirts over our prom dresses! lol.
The only bummer is that sunday night I came home only to go to the lousy ER and wait for a few hours to get a damn perscription. apparantly my body is attacking itself. All news to me but at least I know that I wasn't crazy in disneyland. screw this we have championships next week...anyways no worries I was not contagious. basically my arthritis took over everything since its an autoimmune disease from being sick for too long so I'm back to being the gimp...while my missing cartilage is replaced by fluid inbetween my bones. yuck but I got to go running today which was nice and I didn't get anyone sick so I'm relieved about that too!
Tonight was kinda scary too; So I'm at my Swim instructor class and I need to sit out for a while (lame) cause of arthritis when I see my instructor fall head first into the pool. I run over cause it was too weird since she slid belly against the side down the corner head first after tripping. so she comes up and became my first "active drowning victum" (thrashing trying to breath while not moving her leg) so it was good that she was so close to the side cause I grabed her from under the armpits and we pulled her out. I have never heard her cuss but was she ever. so we're kinda pissed cause the swimteam stole the icepacks and the first aid kit was basically empty. It was still fine tho cause Lindy made an incredible splint for her ankle which is very likely broken since she couldn't move it at all. It was just a perfect accident that happened in a convieninet place but I hope shes feeling beter. She must be so sick of the hospital though because I saw her in the ER last night when her friend got really sick. bummer but it was interesting in that aweful way, and I learned a much more effective splinting technique so thats cool. just a little scary cause Marylin is a big girl so it would have been hard to fish her from the bottom which is what I find hardest about lifeguarding. shesh what a night.
