7am in the office!
i'm not much of a morning person, but the fact that i would rather be early in the office than sleeping in says something about how happy i am to work :D
it helps that my car is coding on tuesdays but it's not so much of a hassle to take a cab to work as the bank car can take me home (provided i stay in late enough, which i usually do). and it's not like coming in early will allow me to leave early. as i type this, 4 people in my team have already arrived and are working and they will be here till like 8pm onwards.
i know i'm still new to the job so everything's fun and exciting (from another management associate who's barely a year into the job: "Kurt, pls don't let our talk make you jaded about work, ok") still, i can only hope that this excitedness and willingness to put in long hours lasts as long as i plan to stay with the bank - or at least, until i learn enough of the work so that everything would be fairly routine by the time i've become jaded.
the best thing about going early? driving to the office takes only 12 minutes (vs. the usual 40). hoyeah! :D
