The Crystal Method @ 930 Club

Fantastic show last night. This will be short and sweet. If you get a chance go see these boys it's worth the cash. Sorry, the kiddies in DC don't know how to dance anymore. I feel bad for the groups sometimes. The set touched all three albums ranging from rave anthems to the new base bombs. Sadly they didn't sell out the door. Oak did earlier last year and he was mediocre. 930 is super for it's size, 1200 standing cap. There is no bad seat in the house. DC needs another Pro Music Venue. I think this market could absorb it. There are still a few industrial warehouse spaces in NW. Sorry, move it anywhere else and you are talking 20 years into the future for the real estate to pretty up. No one will go and it just won't work.

Tonight i was up by the stage, my chest was a tech-echo box, and the base drove right through my Timberlands. It felt like added gravity (running through water). Nice! The gig reminded me of actual musicians and the entertainment part of their music shows. Some guys take that extra step to get an electric crowd interaction. The pros are just comfortable in their own skin and it shows in every aspect of performance. They allowed pics and had a meet and greet (with album). I left both items at home. Doh.
