I love the scene with Arthur in the observatory: "He walks up and away from wide, car-clogged avenues and manicured lawns; through sparse, brightly-lit forests of eucalyptus and jacaranda; until there’s nothing but dry scrub and wildflowers clinging to the sides of an every narrowing dirt path. Until the earth begins to fall away beside him and into the canyon." This just took my breath away. This whole scene, really, did.
And Arthur's moral dilemma--open or not? And then what happens because of it. Everything is just so tightly connected, everything has *consequences*. And because of the way you created Talula and Eames' mom and even the stepfather, because they were so human, I felt totally gutted when they died. And I can't wait to see what comes of the budding and believably awkward relationship between Arthur and Eames. (I've already squeed at you about the sexiness of what they notice about each other like a billion times, so I'll spare you all that. But. Yes.)
THE MAGIC CONTINUES.
