Good evening friends!
At the moment I feel great! Hopefully things stay that way. There should be less pain this go-round as I had a donated graft, rather than stealing from my own body. A new kinship to Goldenoak!
I'll update again tomorrow about meds and things.
In the morning I get one of these!
Game Ready Cooling / Compression System This nifty system is a powered pump cooling system that also provides compression on a programmable schedule. Unlike the crappy gravity fed ice cuff I had last time (and in use tonight), this one will last 8 hours between ice refills.
I have my first PT session at 2:00pm tomorrow.
In other awesome news, I have crutches, but I only need them when I am not wearing the imobilizer. I can walk around unassisted. I also did a brief bit of PT, and I can already straighten the leg completely (although I may lose that for a few days due to swelling) and bend the leg to over 45 degrees. Although at the moment it makes a nasty squishing noise due to the extra fluid.
Have a great night people.
