Well, my week has been very eventful so far. Saw "Elf" Saturday, stayed at the Erinator's abode for the night then on Sunday, I went over to Poodle's and we went to her church and decorated the xmas tree (Oo0o-PA!) and discussed why burping at the table is actually a very beneficial practice.
Some of what we came up with:
-compliment to the chef
-weight loss (from laughing)
-conversation starter
-relieves stress/heart-burn/bloating
-awkward moments=gone
-is amusing
Yeah...anyways. That night, at her house, we stumbled upon a lovely little ditty titled "Half Fling" from Viggo Mortenson's band-thingy's new cd "Pandemoniumfromamerica". Oh goodness, I dont think I have laughed that hard, nor that long in quite some time. Its so funny, and really quite catchy. Dom, Elijah and a bit of Viggo (:P) provide the vocals, Billy does the drums and laughter ensues. I'm buying that cd, no doubt! Monday we spent walking around on 19th Street. I saw the prettiest skirt at "Jubilee's". It was a sort of melon-y, rosy-peach silk...I would have bought it, but it was $38.00 freakin' bucks! I did, however, buy some really nice tap shoes (dont ask me why..I have no idea how to tap...) and a poncho at Sand Dollar!. Then I experienced my first lunch at Quizno's. "Thems good eatin'!"
Poodle stayed over Monday night and that afternoon was spent with at Meyerland. We all (Poodle, Pooter and I) walked there and hung out in Borders and listened to musica and saw Juana. That poor child...I thought perhaps...but no, she is still just as lost. We thought her shirt said "perv"...yeah that would have been interesting--the poor girl didnt even know what a dildo was in the 8th grade!? I bought the new Travis cd "12 Memories" (its sad...but very good!) and that magazine with Johnny on the cover in which he is named "Sexiest Man Alive" (dont recal what the magazine was...I was too..erm...preoccupied to look at anything other than his glorious countenance). Then we all skipped over to Starbucks and I got a grande caramel apple cider (soo good!) and an espresso brownie. Poodle got the peppermint hot chocolat (it was nummy too) and some pound cake. Mum came and picked us up after Poodle managed to flash the world (ill let her tell you all about that if she feels like it) and we watched TTT special edition DVD--oh glory, oh rapture. It was "collasal" (quoth to Poodle).
It was great fun.
