Hi,

You should definitely post this at datinandrelatin! You also could check out their memories and see what people have said in relation to this topic.

In the meantime, I've heard this sort of thing many times. You're not alone but I know it's hard to not feel that way. If I were you, I'd sign up for an online dating service. Okcupid is just one that's out there and free, but there are others I am sure. That way you can brag about yourself, what you've done and what you're looking for in a partner, a friend, whatever. Take it seriously and give it a shot. I met my boyfriend of over 8 years online and it happens!

Ask friends to set you up with any guys that are single and they think are worthy of dating you. You have to make sure you use all of your options. Ask your friends if their significant others know of single guys to have you meet as well.

Lastly, stop thinking so negatively. It shows on the outside and that could be sending out bad vibes/signals. Seems silly but I really believe that. Your friends are happy and in relationships, try to not hold it against them (you may not even realize that you are)--be happy for them and see that as what your future will soon be. Being more positive is a difficult thing to do sometimes but it can change the way you look at things. No man is going to want to hear you feeling sorry for yourself.

Hold your head up. Life isn't all about having a man but I know you're feeling frustrated. You might want to check out, "The Secret." If you haven't heard of it already!

~Becky
