Advice?

I've been having alot of trouble sleeping lately.  I'm Staying up late unable to get to bed no matter what time I lay down i cant get to sleep until about 3-4 in the morning and then I'll wake up almost every hour.  I have trouble getting up after sleeping too.  It's like my body didnt even realize I slept.  I've also been eating alot more too.  Like I'll eat (nothing huge) but then 2 hours later I'll be hungry. 
 I need advice on how to sleep better, like get to sleep earlier and sleep throughout the night.  Any non medical things first would be appriceated.

After note:  I'm not sure if this makes any difference but I'm an 18 year old Female.
