I love Anne McCaffrey’s Pern series, have read every one! I read the first such trilogy, then life happened & I didn't pick them up again until after my son reached middle school, and I found she'd written a whole bunch more... and I played catch-up.

My first sci-fi book was The Red Planet by Robert Heinlein, one of the masters.

May I have a letter, please?

The older of my two lil bros is coming in tomorrow (from Hawaii) with his g/f and their daughter...
I haven't seen him in a couple of years...
We aren't particularly close, but it is *always* good to see family...
