Sun Chips
I shadow at kid at a school. So I basically hang out with third graders biweekly. I saw Adrian put his coins in the vending machine, and the chips got stuck. Watched the Adrian and his twin brother Albert bang on it to get the chips out. Upset, Adrian says, "SHIT. I just wasted a dollar!" and walks away. I felt bad for the kids so I asked my coworker Jonathan to borrow his dollar. I venmo'd him the dollar back. I look at what chip would bring the sunchips down. Coincidentally, the whole row were the same sunchips. So I picked the sunchips and figured I'd give the kid both bags. I put in the dollar, and fuck. My chips got stuck too. I told the teacher on duty my story, and he's like, "Sorry. The vending machines are not part of the school. I can't help you."
The school day ends, and the teacher on duty comes up to me and said, "Hey I just saw the twins try again, and this time they were super excited because they got three bags!" This made my day.
