(no subject)
So, cool things happened today. I had a meeting with the big boss over at work and he asked me what my goals with the company are. I told him I want to be CEO of the company. He responded "no, really, what do you want to do?" I repeated that if I stick with the company, I want to be CEO of the company. He said "well, okay, if that's what you really want, stick with me and we'll get you there."
In addition, I found out that I've been selected for this class where I get to be in training for upper management. It's apparently very competitive to get into this class so I'm psyched about that.
I still have a few other options for the fall. (I'd take CEO if the opportunities presented themselves so it is a goal with my current job, but it's not set-in-stone by any means that I'll stick with this job for any length of time.)
I went out with the managers tonight, which was actually sort of fun. We went help out at another branch of the business and then went out for drinks (yay pepsi) afterward.
