Poetry in Timing

The following post is a summary of what the last few weeks have been like here for me. It seems like many events are happening at just the right times to force me to make choices that lead to other events that feel right. I can only give generalities right now until I know for certain what I'm doing, but in essence, here it is:

*I got into a car accident the day before I left for Portland. Shipped the thing to Portland.
*I interviewed at a good looking financial company in mid-June, got called for a second interview, then heard nothing after and forgot about it
*Got a call from the Renaissance Festival offering me an incredible opportunity to basically run my own shop and teach Calligraphy classes
* Agreed to return to MN for a month and a half to pursue this opportunity. Because my car is here, I can drive and get around in MN.
* Got a call for a final meeting with the above company, probably to discuss terms of my hire

All the time I've been thinking that if I had just a few more contacts, I could parlay the calligraphy into a major part time, or one day even full time profession. I'm not that far off. There is more going on than just this, but I have a lot to think about.

I'll have one of my regular thought-provoking (or ire-provoking) entries next time!

PS - I love Portland so far. This place has the most beautiful summers I have ever seen.
