Reaching the Top
I often wonder why anyone would really want to advance in a company for 30+ years, reach the top, make a lot of money, then retire.
By the time you are there, all you are left with is an aged body, tons of money you won't have enough time to spend which you can't take with you when you die, lost years of your life spent sitting in an office, and the privilege of telling younger people what to do who will grow up to be just like you.
Sounds like fun.
