Title Snowy Retreat

Terry had no clue why he'd had a meeting scheduled for a new client in Whistler, British Columbia, this time of year. He's an Australian, who spent most of his time in England. He hated snow. Yet, here he is because Dino couldn't be pried from his fucking island in the tropics.
Pulling his collar closer to his neck to keep the heavily falling snow from going down his neck, hue trudged down a shoveled side walk he really wished he'd have had the foresight to bring a hat, and scarf. He cursed Dino again as he turned down the lane to the cabin he was booked into. At least he had a hot tub to look forward to and since he was on the edge of the complex of hotels and cabins he wouldn't have to deal with the young snowboarding crowd and revelers.
Turning toward his cabin, he realized that the sidewalk had been more recently shoveled than the rest of the sidewalks. Curious. Just as he was about to step under the porch he felt a snowball hit him square on his back.
"What the fuck?" He said turning to see who would have the balls to throw a snowball at a stranger. "You fucker," he amended when he saw Dino leaning up against a tree by the sidewalk.
"Hola," Dino greeted with a smile.
"What the fuck are you doing here? I thought you were allergic to the cold. Isn't that what you told me to get out of taking this meeting," Terry questioned.
"Yup. I wanted a vacation where we didn't have to do anything but move between, bed, kitchen and hot tub. Anywhere else you'd want to go out and do things. Here, not so much."
"Fucker," Terry said reaching down to grab a hand full of snow and lob it at Dino as his red headed lover walk toward him.
"That was a lame attempt," Dino pointed out.
"Maybe," Terry shrugged, "but I'd rather do something more than have a snow ball fight with you."
"Oh really? Do tell."
"Come'ere," Terry instructed as motioned for Dino to come closer. When the red head was with in arms reach, he pulled Dino close, giving him a kiss. When he felt Dino relax, he reached up and brushed the snow from the angled roof support, right down the back of Dino's jacket.
"You fucker," Dino exclaimed.
"Paybacks are a bitch Mate," Terry said with a grin.
"One snowball that didn't get you cold."
"Guess I'll have to warm you up. There is a hot tub..."
"Lead the way."
Terry turned and unlocked the door. Knowing Dino was right behind him. Maybe Dino was right, a snowy retreat for them was a perfect idea. He'd never admit that to Dino however.

Title Teasing Leads to...

Pairings Eliot/Tara

Tara sat listening to Nate drone on about the job they were to do for the third time. The level of alcohol in his bloodstream was showing and she seriously didn't know how Sophie put up with it. She slipped her shoes off, figuring if she had to listen to Nate and Hardison argue about how to do the job she might as well be comfortable.
Looking across the table, she saw Eliot in a half dazed state as well. Figuring she might as well have some fun, she uncurled one leg and stretched it across under the table. She remembered from the last time they worked together how good Eliot was and just maybe they could rekindle that if she played her cards right.
Slipping her foot up along the side of Eliot's leg she watched over her glasses as he sat a little straighter in his seat and looked over at her. His half smile told her everything she needed to know, as did the fact he stretched his legs out toward her.
Grateful for her long legs, she ran her foot up and down his leg each pass going higher and higher. She could tell by how much he was squirming how much she was effecting him. And when reached his crotch, she felt evidence of that. Tucking her toes under him, she wiggled her toes, hiding a smile behind her hand when he let out a quiet gasp.
"Did you have some input, Eliot?" Nate asked him
"Not yet. I'll work the security issues as we go."
She didn't miss Eliot glaring at her and in response she wiggled her toes again. Ignoring his continued glare. He'd always glared at her so at least if anyone took a good look at the two of them nothing would be any different.
"If no one has anything else, we'll start surveillance tomorrow."
"Tara, can I talk to you about your role," Eliot asked as they all stood up.
"Sure, let's go into your office," she said with a smile, knowing that while they really didn't have offices per say, Eliot kept a space where he could do business for the pub, and the door locked which was definitely a plus.
Ignoring the conversation going on around them as they worked out some more of the details, that didn't involve her role or Eliot's. She followed him into his office and smiled as he locked the door behind her.
"You are a tease."
"You going to do anything about it?" She challenged. She no sooner said the words than she found herself lifted onto his work table that was disguised as a desk with him standing between her legs.
"Yeah, I am," he told he as he slid his hands up her legs, pushing her skirt along with it until he could slip his fingers under her panties.
Helping him along, she undid her blouse with one hand and caressed his neck, twirling the ends of his much shorter hair between her fingers. She always liked his confidence and now as he tore her panties away. She helped get his jeans undone and push them down as he pulled her to the edge of the table. He was everything she remembered him to be as he pushed inside her, stretching and filling her. No less the considerate lover than he'd always been even though she'd teased him to the brink. He made sure she had as much pleasure as possible and when they both came, he held her kissing across her neck and shoulder until he softened and slid from her.
She watched as he yanked his t-shirt over his head and admired his muscular chest and abs as he gently cleaned her up before wiping over himself and tugging his jeans up.
"We really should do this in a bed sometime," she said pulling him close again for another kiss.
"Keep shit up like in the meeting and we're never going to make it past a desk or a wall."
"What do they say about patience being a virtue?" She teased drawing her finger nails down his chest.
"Fuck patience," he declared and caught her fingers kissing them before adding, "When this job is over, stay."
"I just might for a while," she said. Nate and Sophie certainly didn't need her to stay and help but Nate and Sophie were mostly out of the game and Parker could always use the help of a good grifter on occasion because four people could certainly work better than three.

Eliot flipped through the old worn cook book with all of his mother's cookie recipes. He'd promised he'd make Christmas cookies for the kids at the shelter. He'd already done the bulk of the spritzer cookies in reds and greens with sprinkles and sugar coatings and they were packed in plastic bins to keep them fresh until the weekend. The same with the peanut brittle and the many dozens of chocolate chip cookies. Now it was time to make the decorated sugar cookies. He dug through the shelves to find the cookie cutters his mother had given him when he'd gone to visit after Toby had taught him to cook.
Lost in thought and memories as he rolled out the first batch of dough, he started when he heard her ask, "Can I help?"
"Shit, Parker, don't scare me like that," he stated, rubbing the back of his hand across his forehead.
"Sorry," she said, then giggled, "you have flour all over your face."
Glaring at her he rubbed his hand over his forehead again. "Was there something you wanted?"
"Can I help you make cookies?"
"Why?"
"Why not? You've been baking for days and I thought maybe you'd like to help."
"I got this, but if you'd like to keep me company that's okay," he conceded. He actually didn't mind her company as long as she wasn't trying to push his buttons.
"What are you making?"
"My momma's sugar cookies. We use to make them together when I was a kid."
"Tell me about it."
"Normally he wouldn't talk about his childhood with anyone. It was another time in his life and he liked to keep that part of him separate from who he'd become but the longer he was with Nate and the team, the more he found himself becoming the person he once had been and the past he didn't like to take about was the time in between.

a/n This is current to the season's so far and I life in denial that Cath will never return...
Steve decided to go to Baltimore for the big game rather than stay in Hawaii. Last year he’d spent the day with Catherine surrounded by friends. This year he was going back to celebrate with a bunch of his classmates and do a little official tailgating. He debated brushing of his Service Dress Blues. But decided after a visit to the Mid Store and is purchase of new Academy apparel that he’d relax and wear a sweat shirt and jeans. Two spaces away was a class tailgate for Catherine’s class. He knew many of the partiers from Cath’s company.
He was on his way into the stadium to take his seat so he could watch the brigades come into the stadium when he heard his name called. Turning he saw he coming toward him.
“Catherine, he said trying to keep any emotion out of his voice. “I thought you were still in Afghanistan.”
“I was, but I needed to leave to keep the village safe.”
“Understandable,” he said with a nod as she fell into step next to him. “What are you going to do now?”
“I don’t know. I’d like to continue to try to help there, but…”
“But?” he prompted to urge her to continue.
“Can we talk?”
“I thought we were.”
“About us?”
Steve sighed. “Yeah,” he agreed. He wouldn't deny he still loved her, but there was a part of him that wasn't sure he wanted to risk having it broken again. He guided them toward a quiet part of the stadium where they could watch what was going on but not get jostled as much.
“I know I told you not to wait, so I don’t have any right to ask…”
“There is no one,” he interrupted.
“Can we?”
“Cath, I can’t lie. It hurt. I gotta know if we try again that you’re not going to take off again,” he said honestly.
“Start over?” she questioned.
“Go slow,” he amended. Leaning down, he gave her a quick kiss. “I missed you,” he whispered.
“Damn, McGarrett. When we heard Rollins was single again we thought we’d have a chance.”
Steve turned and glared at one of Catherine’s classmates as they stood behind them.
“Shove off,” Catherine told them.
Steve gave her another quick kiss. “See you at half-time?”
“Yeah,” she nodded.
“Did you bring a dress?”
“Yeah.”
“The ball afterward. Be my date?” He smiled when she laughed at him and replied, “Just like old times, McGarrett. So not smooth.”
“Whatever. You accepted then too.”
“I did. And I will again.”
“Good,” he said smiling. Watching as she walked away to join her friends. He felt like a kid again asking her to the ball, but as much as he loved her, her needed to make sure he wasn't going to lose his heart again.
