Pulling his mind back was hard, because touching Erik's thoughts again after what felt like so long to him, was balm to his emotional wounds. He wanted nothing more than to reach out and suffocate in Erik's mind. To fall and let Erik catch him, but all he could do was wait. Wait and see if the truth was enough.
