Tea and Whimsy

Nov 15, 2006 21:00

I'm sitting out in the garden, with a pot of tea and my pride of garden lions. I had planned this for yesterday but it didn't work out...I was overtaken by rolls of Christmas wrap and tied up in curling ribbon, my cries for help silenced by cello tape.

Well, that was yesterday. Today, I'm enjoying some Saskatoonberry tea I got for my birthday, and some wonderful classical guitar and flute music someone gave me for no apparent reason than the desire to share the pure joy of inspiration and talent. And I have word HAL (my supersized laptop) is on his way back to me. Life's pretty good.

Michele, the tea is not as sweet as comes in the cachets, but the flavour of the berry itself is stronger. Makes a nice pot of tea. Thank you.

Nonny, I need your new mailing address, please.

Ann, the coffee was a real treat. I had it again last night, coming in from a long day out, and it filled the whole kitchen with a lovely 'there, there, coffee will make everything better' aroma.

Jay, your birthday/Christmas gifts/new pup treats will be Friday. Thank God June wasn't hurt. TC's cousin hit a deer two years ago and is still suffering back and neck pain. Didn't do the deer much good either.

And now...a little Christmassy...er....treat? Something to do when you're bored:

Cheers.
