Great exchanges....
It's not easy given there are so many great exchanges, but here are three of my favorites....
From McKay and Mrs. Miller
JEANIE: These alien creatures must be quite the threat for you to even try what you’re doing.
McKAY: Now, I don’t want to scare you, but you need to know the stakes. We are at war.
(Jeanie looks at him suspiciously.)
JEANIE: Did you start it?
McKAY (indignantly): What? No! Come on!
The Return Part I
McKAY: They emit a directional energy beam that disrupts the connection between nanites.
DEX (taking the gun): Not what I asked.
McKAY (with a long suffering look): Yes. They work good.
DEX: How’re they doing?
ZELENKA: Well, according to my calculations, the blast wave should have hit us by now but I’m reading no discernable increase in radiation.
(Ronon stares at him the technobabble going over his head, but realizes that Zelenka is calm and not panicing.)
DEX: So they’re doing good?
