GRE successfully taken - 700 verbal, 650 math (writing TBA because there's not insta-grading). I wish verbal had been better because on the practice tests I got 730, 750, and 710 in that order, so obviously I screwed something up a little in the actual exam, but oh, well! It's still pretty solid IMO. Anyway it's over, and I'm SUPER excited for Rachelle and Dan's wedding tomorrow afternoon! All's well.
That's about all I have to say, really - besides I NEED to own North & South and probably read the book (which has given me a huge amount of new respect for Katie's MA being in Elizabeth Gaskell) and I am peeling like a friggin' banana from my 6-day-old sunburn. It's a little gross, but it's what I get haha
Oh also I bought an amazing ring that is a gold octopus with a black pearl for a head. I am considering naming him Paul for the German psychic octopus.
