Busy busy busy. Just finished writing a packing list (because otherwise I'll forget loads of stuff, and this way I'll only forget a few things XD) I also cut out some pattern pieces I'll need while away, and wrapped/labelled presents to get sent out tomorrow and wrote their cards as well. Still need to cut out other pattern pieces, clean up, do some laundry, and actually pack.

1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
I went on a cruise for my brother's high school graduation :D
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I'm not sure I made any, and if I did, I have no idea if I kept them. I was distracted at New Year's by falling down stairs and avatar1983's deathly illness.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My cousin, if you'd call her close.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
A more distant cousin, who was even less close (so no, I guess).
5. What countries did you visit?
Norway and Germany :D
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
Self-discipline and a job.
7. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Mostly 8 July, for adamncronk's wedding :D But the year's not QUITE over, either.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Lol graduating in January, and probably the loss of a couple of inches via the gym. Hopefully those will continue to go away over the next year XD
9. What was your biggest failure?
Utterly failing to find a job or do any of the projects I gave myself.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nope, not really.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Well, I bought plenty of stuff...ponies, Borderlands, shoes, or books. Lol I can't decide XD
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
I don't know - my brother got into his first choice university, and my sister got into her grad school, so I guess theirs?
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Certain people I won't talk about because their behavior continues to affect me this way and I won't support it.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent/bills, shoes, clothes, games etc. etc.
15. What are you really, really, really excited about?
Christmas!!! (keeping flickums's answer because it's so apt XD)

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? Tough call - about the same?
b) thinner or fatter? Thinner, but only just XD

Going to the gym! Only this month though, otherwise I've been good. Also, following through on stuff I told myself I wanted to do.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Moping, being lazy, being angry etc. Also stressing about future uncertainty. I've done a lot of it, and it still doesn't help.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
In Valpo! With my family and avatar1983, and with my friends. It will be excellent.

It's between June, July, and December.
22. Did you fall in love in 2009?
No.

Glee! Despite all the things I think are wrong with it, I love it XD

Yes, but I know I shouldn't waste the effort.

Probably Un Lun Dun (Chine Miéville). I REALLY enjoyed it, and it renewed my hope for YA and Children's Lit.

the Format (which is cheating, I knew ABOUT them) or Malena Ernman or Paloma Faith.

Results from the gym. Etc.

More/bigger results from the gym. Etc.

So far, District 9 and Avatar, though I expect Princess and the Frog and Invictus to join these ranks. (Plus I can't remember all the movies I've seen this year XD)

25, and not much. We went to dinner and I had cake. At the actual party it was better, there were cupcakes and karaoke, which is always good XD
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
A job or sense of certainty.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Shades of 1999-2007 (minus 2002-3, when I dressed like a person). Ie how I've always dressed.

Trillian chat, the internet (when it wasn't the problem), avatar1983 (when he wasn't the problem lol), etc.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Some of them? Hugh Jackman, Jensen Ackles, Henry Cavill, etc.

Roman Polanski, the Healthcare debate, etc.

spazmosis, meat0r, decibals_star, playinginnocent, aflumpsinlondon, whenshewasmine, etc. Terribly. Except when I got to see them XD

I didn't meet a LOT of new people, but flickums and blazingskies are pretty cool!
