I want to try to start writing a personal journal again. Here and there I've written in my "real" journal, but all in all, I've fallen off the journaling bandwagon. I do keep up with my craft blog semi-periodically (3 or 4 times a month, sometimes more often), but since I've begun selling on etsy, most of what I make goes up for sale.

I know I am thinking of not continuing what I sell at etsy. Maybe just sell at grannysquarewoman.com, maybe just at the new distro, I'm not sure. I'd really like to try craft shows & the like, but it's hard to find the right market for what I sell. And it looks like I'll be working weekends, so how do I get to sell at craft fairs? It's a tough call.

On the other hand, it looks like the designing half of my business is going semi well. If I can start teaching, too, then I might be able to do OK. Sell at a couple of fairs once in a while, sell online at my distro or whatever, and design & teach.

In other news, I joined a Harry Potter based role playing game so I can get back into writing. I've always wanted to role play, and never have. It's a fictional university in the US, and I'm playing the Head of the Humanities department & I teach Muggle Studies, which'll be pretty fun. I wanted to teach History of Magic, but Muggle Studies was my second choice. My character is a lot like me; I figured that would make it easier for a first time role play. Shy, not a lot of friends, single, a collector, and hey, I also knit! LOL
