Vista users: can you give me your impressions on whether XP or Vista is less annoying to use?
I just tried poking at the VM on my work laptop. Forgot that XP assaults you with stupid yellow status balloons about IMMINENT MORTAL PERIL and nags you about the tidiness of your desktop for a full five minutes after boot. I know it's a minor point, fixable with a registry hack, but one of the nontrivial things keeping me attached to OSX is the absence of wanting to get up, walk away, and become a Luddite potato farmer everytime I sit down to use it.
