Hmmm.
Things I need (well, I don't, but I really want):
-a fistful of white LEDs
-a soldering iron
-some pure wool roving that I pretty much intend to throw straight into a pot of hot water without spinning or knitting (although, a way of laying it out would be nice... perhaps such a thing will need to be made)
-or a commercially produced version of the above (wants to be at least 1/8" thick -- see, what I want is an absurdly thick nonwoven, non-knitted wool fabric that has some loft and translucency to it)
-A BUKKIT
-a handful of 1/8" basswood dowels
I've already got a bathtub and more wire hangers than I know what to do with, so I'm probably set for 14ga wire. And a replacement set of legs for my drafting/work table, injured in the move, will be here soon.
Also, my day has been notably awesome. I figured out a problem at work that had two people confounded, and went to a product design exhibition and got to pick Jeff Miller's brain (I still dislike a lot of his work, but I have a lot more respect for his process.) The chili that I made according to digitalemur's recipe is delicious. I'm refraining from doing anything physically dangerous this evening, having superstitiously accepted the pattern that, in my life anyway, pride goeth before a trip to the ER.
