I tried making Sierpinski cookies, but did it wrong and didn't recurse the cane properly. Don't think I would've had enough dough, anyway, since it seems to need about 2/3 again as much dough for the outside as for the center. Bah.

They still look tasty, and arjache's suggestion for using baking chocolate worked well

What do you need a cello player for? My mother is a cello instructor; her house is crawling with them.

I play piano and want to start a super-awesome band with piano and a couple string instruments, like if you took Sufjan Stevens, Elliott Smith, and Belle and Sebastian then trapped them in the basement of a music college and forced them to play chamber music for a year. I'm working on scoring things out but I don't know what instruments I'll be working with exactly, though I'm hoping for cello and viola.
