unusually normal day
Today I got to do some actual usability work. And people believed me and made decisions based on my input. The ego, it basks.
Later, ran into ilmarinen and plantae, neither of whom I see frequently enough. Halloo!
woofiegrrl gave me the inspiration to do it: bought my first thing ever off eBay, a Motorola v195s phone. T-mobile was under the impression that I should be prevented from downgrading 'upgrading' my phone for 30 days after account transfer. T-mobile is often mistaken. Feel all weirdly consumerist and gadget-happy now. As soon as the phone shows up I'll have an orphaned Sidekick III, with a cracked screen and annoyingly slow firmware, free to good home.
Now there is just about the perfect quaternary complement of happy-making people in my living room, and I'm done with some fairly major improvements. Purrrr.
