dymaxion donated some of her formidable brains to the mill project, so now I have sketch drawings for all three bracket axes, and a far superior plan for attaching the X-axis what was giving YrHumble&ObedientMachinist conniptions. Now to spend money at Online Metals. <3
Grr(rrr,rrrrrrrr): I decided I really do want to join Pratt. For access to the metal shop, you must have taken Jewelry Metalsmithing II. That's great, since I would like to acquire all of the skills in the course description, and that shared-workspace proposition is all very groovy. This quarter, the class is offered... 9am-1pm for 8 consecutive Thursdays.

The institute is nominally for people who aren't students, the class is $280, the membership is $75 and the shop time is $10 an hour... but they apparently don't want you to have a day job. So not amused about this. Not sure what to do about it.
