I'm looking at picking up some lampwork glass supplies, for a very simple project. I was looking at glass safety glasses here, and... erk. Why are they $80? My welding glasses were $13.
Is there a cheaper supplier for something equally good? Will happily go to SODO and beyond.
ETA: I am unquestionably going to use some sort of safety glasses. I've been a little light-sensitive since my last adventure, and have no desire to make it worse. I just want to understand whether the ones I have, sold for welding, are good enough.
