Last night, after stevens1's graduation dinner, arjache kept me sane, moderately well-behaved, and in green apple soda in QFC for about two hours in the middle of the night. Trip food is now DONE. Not at all! It's just in that special category, along with Stick It and Space Camp.

You're probably going to hate me forever for thinking of it thus. :(

Uh, no, it's in that category of movies that made my childhood what it was - that and But I'm a Cheerleader and The Apocalypse Trilogy, and Henry Fool and The Cube...most scarring was TAT, the 3rd movie of which I watched with a few friends in my bedroom on the floor and ended up, in the first 30 seconds, of having a shitload of nudity and OF COURSE my mother had to walk in and yell, "Richard! Your children are watching smut!"

I think if I had seen a lot of movies (The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, SLC Punk, But I'm a Cheerleader, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Cube (and sequel, in the correct order), Spinal Tap, etc, etc, etc) as a child rather than an adult, media would make a lot more sense to me now.
