nope, can't says i have, but from people who have read it they said it really did go by the book a lot.

they didnt focus enough on charachter development. they overdid the action scenes, majorly. the ending was a jip. tolkien spent so much time on the ending. saruman didnt even show up in the movie. i could go on forever.

the saruman thing was just confusing. 'cause he's a big part of the story. i mean he's the evil guy who came up with the army and then he doesn't even show up even for a last cup of tea...what do you mean character development. the ending just went on forever. blah blah blah. but on a different subject, do you know where i could find liquid glass?

the ending was so bland compared to the book.just read it when you can. (the silmarillion is good too.) you will understand.
and about character development...we can have lunch sometime and talk about it.

liquid glass?...as in the auto polish...the epoxy?
as far as i know you have to melt it first...

pick a date and we can have lunch...liquid glass. i believe it's sort of like a varnish. it can be put on a wood frame, bare over the frame and the picture so when it dries it's like the whole thing is plastic. err something like that. but anyway, remember, where there's a gina there's a josh.
