(no subject)
So...I got done with my lab today and Emily called me and met me at the KA house. We decided to go get a bit to eat before we got her car washed and run a couple of errands. So anyways...we went and ate and were on the way back to the house. Well, we got to about Poplar and Greer right in front of East High School and then.....BAM!! yep, we got in a wreck. Emily's mustang is pretty bad. There was a car pulling out of the Krystal's parking lot turning to go west on poplar and we were going east and the two right hand lanes had stopped to let her out and we had a green light and didn't see her. The front right side of it is mangled. The scary part about it is, is that if emily hadn't of stopped as soon as she did...the other car would have plowed into the side of the car...where I was sitting. The hood is bent to shit, the right headlight is completely gone, the left headlight was knocked out because she hit us so hard. SHe hit us so hard that she knocked us into the turning lane and it stalled out emily's car. her car was drivable, but is sure was making funny noises. we had traffic backed all the way back past the library. it was pretty bad. my leg is hurting pretty bad because my legs kinda got smashed into the glove compartment and it doesnt help that it was my bad knee. Emily's wrist is hurting because the steering wheel jolted and it jerked her arm really hard in the wrist that she has carpel tunnel in. But anyways...we called the police and my dad. my dad called my grandaddy because he had dinner reservations with carol for V-day. so my grandad came and got us, the other girl got the ticket and it was all good i guess..minus the minor injuries. But emily is really shook up bc she had never been in a wreck before. i am glad i was with her because she would have been freaking out and not would have known what to do. anyways we went to my grandparents house for a bit and now we are at robynn's. time to go home soon. but overall, today was an ok day. i think i did ok on my psychology test. whoopee. time to get a little rest and what not. peace out.
