Tails was flying low in the city, his tails a blur as they carried him along. The Yellow Tail was tucked securely under his arm as he searched for a place to practice with it. As he passed the bar window, he happened to glance in and spotted Melissa drinking by herself. So he knocked on the window, not wanting to just barge in.

Melissa sat up when someone tapped on the window. That in itself was a strange concept as it wasn't her bar and she couldn't think of anyone who knocked before entering a bar. But there was nothing wrong in being polite she supposed.

She downed the contents of her latest bottle and set it aside before turning around, a small grin crossing her face when she saw the fox. Cute talking animals. There were times when she thought she'd fallen into a damn Disney movie or something like that, but if that was how the city went, so be it.

"Hey, Tails, come on in!" she shouted, motioning for him to come inside in case he couldn't hear her.

((ooc: Ugh, sorry for being so late on this, been out of the house these past few days.))

The youngster wasted no time in landing and opening the door. Stepping inside he looked around, tails waving always independent of each other. "Hi Melissa, how are you?" he greeted, grinning and extending a gloved hand, the other gripping his board. "Is this where you stay?"

(ooc: No biggie.)

"Doing good. How about you, kid?" She didn't mean kid to be demeaning in any way or form, but that was simply how she spoke to people younger than her. Her laid-back attitude was something that got her in trouble more than once.

"Stay here? Nah, I think the barkeep would throw me out if I tried to. Hey, grab a seat and order something."

"I'm good, I had just been out looking for a place to practice with the Yellow Tail here." He didn't seem to mind being addressed as such, climbing onto a seat and placing the aforementioned object on the floor against the counter. "Oh, so this is where the party is then? What do they have?"
