this thread.
Where: All around Ads!
Rating: PG?
Summary: Killua convinces Rome to dig pit traps around Adstring as a way to measure whether or not people are idiots. If you fall in, you are an idiot. If you don't, you're not. Rome sort of goes along with it because it kind of makes sense.

A wild pit appears! )
"Yo!"

Romulus found himself tensing up, waiting for a moment, assessing the threat- intuitively, he didn't think that Killua would harm him, if given the choice. He didn't seem like he had cruel intentions, just that he was a dangerous creature to tangle with- something which reminded Romulus, oddly enough, of a natural wolf.
After a short once-over, Romulus nodded, taking his eyes off of Killua to glance across the park.
"Hello. I hope you did not encounter any troubles on your way here."

"Naw, easy as cake," he shrugged lightly. "So where d'you think would be the best starting point?"

"Here," he murmured quietly, crouching down and touching his finger to the dirt. "This area has the most human tracks and it smells like someone was here just a few hours ago. There is most likely a high volume of people who wander through this spot."

That being said, he stood up straight, holding out the shovel in one hand and the pole in the other. "Take your pick."

He glances over between the two items before taking the pole. Killua was shorter- though not by much- and Rome assumed that he didn't have enhanced strength, so it would be easier for him to ise the shovel.
"The pits should be at least four feet wide and several feet deep."

He blinks, but starts digging as well. Like Killua, Rome is a great deal stronger than he looks, and the dirt mound is getting bigger in minutes. Manual labor- something he was somewhat familiar with.

"What if a small child falls in?"

"I'll catch 'em before they hit bottom. I'm fast enough."

He stops digging for a moment, glancing behind them.
"I think we should gather foliage to break the fall."
