This must be an event. I'm not sure what triggered it, but this has the Animus written all over it.

So it is safe to say that this is just one of those tricks played by the Animus things, right? Is there a way to reverse it ourselves or are we going to just have to deal with it?

Yes, I think it's safe to assume this is because of the Animus. I'd assume there's a way for us to reverse it, especially if there's a way we can cause it ourselves. We just have to figure that out.

Are you sure about that? Though if we're going by that logic, we should be able to use each others' abilities.

Well- We cannot use our own, we can use each others, yes.

Let's hope that nothing comes up that requires us to fight, it is disorientating being like... this.

I think we'd be able to manage in a fight, but I'd rather avoid any conflict until I'm back in my own body.

That might be all we can do. Though maybe we should ask around and see if others are having this same problem and whether or not they've fixed this.
