Yuca heard the scream and ignored it. He had better things to do than to help people who got themselves into trouble. Quietly, he hummed to himself, as if that could drown out the agonized sounds of pain, reaching up on his tiptoes to pick one of the apples from the tree that he'd been harvesting recently. A good, solid apple- but when he turned it over, there was a patch of rot set deeply into the fruit. Yuca frowned, discarding it when the sound game again. Pain, agony. He recognized those sounds, and what's more- he finally recognized the voice ( ... )

The body parts were his, certainly, but not the blood. He had done a fair number to Killua before he faltered and was beat to hell and back. The memories of the fight were jumbled, fast, uncertain. Yet he still could not lose consciousness. He willed for it, wanting the pain to at least pause until maybe someone came to find him. But no, it wasn't working. If he had the strength to knock himself out he would. He tried raising his head but it only brought forth another scream.

Then someone was next to him, checking for a pulse. He wouldn't find one. He would never find one. Carefully, slowly, he turned his head just a bit to see that it was Yuca. His voice sounded far away. Maybe he was going to pass out. Thank god...

"Yeah." He croaked.

"Frau- what happened to you?"

He tipped his head to look at the detached limbs, the holes in Frau's chest, swallowing hard and pulling his hand back when he couldn't find a pulse.

"You- the clinic. I'll get you to the clinic."

"Killua." He seemed to roll the words around in his mouth a little bit before getting them out, "Tried to stop him."

Talking was rather painful at the moment. But then again, so was being. He couldn't nod. That would move too much of his body. He could barely feel his attached arm to even think to use it to sign to Yuca. This was too much. Note to self: Don't do this again.

"Kay."

He didn't exactly have the time to worry about who would think what depending on where he was taken. Nor the choice. Yuca didn't look that strong and he was a kind of big man.

"Shh, don't talk too much."

Yuca didn't know if he should move him, and immediately moved to his head, feeling at his neck, trying to make sure it wasn't broken before any movement was attempted- it wasn't, which was good.

Even so, Frau was kind of large and Yuca was rather malnourished, and even after wrapping up the other priest in his jacket, he still didn't know how he'd be able to carry him all this way. But- he had to try.

"I'm going to lift you, okay? I need to get you to safety."

He grunted a confirmation. He'd do his best to support at least some of his own weight. It would be interesting doing it with only one leg and close to no strength left over. He spent the time Yuca took to get ready to do this to mentally prepare himself for the pain he knew would come once he started moving. He definitely have to thank the guy for this later. When coherency was something he could manage out loud.

"Careful..."

He bites his lip before slowly pulling Frau up, trying to lift him and place his remaining arm around his shoulder. The lack of blood was frightening, and Yuca was suspicious that Frau isn't exactly what he said he was, but... he looked at the limbs scattered on the ground for a moment and shook his head. He'd have to come back for those later.

He carried Frau by the torso, since he couldn't hook an arm around his legs, trying to lay him down a little in his arms.

"Try to- hold onto my shoulders, okay? The clinic is a ways away."

He bites back the scream that threatens to tear from him as Yuca lifts him and instead just goes for a nod. Despite his growing lack of strength, he grips on to Yuca's shoulders with that one arm as tight as he can, doing his best to support a little bit of his own weight so he wasn't too much of a burden. Any facade of him being a normal, living human was tossed aside as he did his best to support himself and not scream in Yuca's ear. Enough so that he even forgot to pretend to breathe. He did manage a couple of words though.

"How far?"

"A ways. It's alright."

Carrying him was strenuous, but there wasn't another option. Yuca shut his eyes, forcing himself forward, forcing himself to keep going, and trying his best not to bump up against the obvious injuries. It was difficult, but in the end, he managed a strange way of hobbling to cause minimal jarring and pain. Not much, but it was the best he could do.

"I'll get you there, Frau. I promise."

"I believe you."

He gives Yuca the closest he could manage to a smile through all the pain before doing his best to hobble along beside him. Every inch felt like a yard. He could barely remember the last time he was in this much physical pain. But still, he focused on not putting too much weight on Yuca and just stared at the pebbles on the ground that passed by. Anything to focus on something other than the pain.

"Thanks."
