[ With head still throbbing from the lump he had received not even two days before, the half-giant had been content with remaining in his chair while responding to others on the PCD. Still his fingers fumbled with the device, his sore arm and hands only making it more difficult to handle it.

Finally he gave up and set it aside when he heard the knocking on the door as well as Ron's voice from the other side. With a small grunt Hagrid climbed to his feet, shuffling a bit as he walked over to the door. ]

C'mon in, Ron. [ He smiled despite how tired he felt when he opened the door and motioned for the red-head to come inside. ]

[Ron ran a hand through his hair while waiting, frown miring his features before he blinked up as the door opened. Hagrid was more worse for wear than what he'd seen on the PCD.]

Bloody hell, Hagrid. [Frowning up at his half-giant friend before sliding in.] Should probably get that checked out.

I'll be fine. Jus' need a good night's sleep and a cuppa tea and I'll be good as new.

[ Traveling through the Wastelands had been a lot more difficult than the Forbidden Forrest, but he had been traveling with Grawp before coming here and even before that, he had traveled to the land where the giants lived. It wasn't anything new for him but from the pace of his steps as he crossed the room indicated how sore and tired he was.

With the door closed and the half-giant waving to an empty seat at the table, he shuffled over to the small fireplace and crouched down in front of it. He winced but said nothing of the pain in his arm as he started to load some wood to start up a fire. ]

Now then-- tell me what 'appened while I was gone.

A night's kip and tea doesn't look like it'll do much good.

[Stepping further inside, Ron watched his friend with the frown still set on his features. Hagrid really never had been good at hiding when he was hurt. Moving to the table, Ron stopped only to pause when Hagrid spoke up.]

[Taking the strides to the half giant, Ron took some wood himself.]

Let me help, Hagrid. [He shrugged.] Hermione and I... had a bit of a falling out. 'Side from that, just event stuff, innit?

[ With a brief word of thanks, Hagrid shifted a little to the side to let the boy help. He waited until the pieces of wood were piled up properly before tucking in some twigs and dry leaves under one of the logs. Then with a match he scraped the end against the side of the box once, twice, three times before the tip lit up.

The half-giant held the match to the dried out pieces of kindling until the fire took hold. Then with a short flick of the wrist he shook out the match before tossing it into the gathering flames. ]

Them events... caught the tail end of one those when I got back. All those tombstones, right?

[ His tired expression looked solemn in the flickering fire light, staring into the fireplace at first. On the journey back as he had made his way through the fog he had seen headstones. Headstones with names on them that made him panic at first. ]

Damned Animus... ruddy bastards, the lot of 'em.

[Ron shrugged slightly before backing away when Hagrid went to setting the kindling on fire. Taking a breath, he took a seat at the table that had been offered to him before.]

Yeah, those ones. [Ron snorted, cracking a small grin.] Not thee only one who thinks that. Been threatening to throttle them since about my first week here.

[But the grin died down fast enough, he couldn't lie to him but he couldn't tell Hagrid all the ones from their world had been true. And many of the others. So he cleared his throat.] Good thing you weren't here for all of it, at least.
